HEARTS & FLOWERS

Just Magnolia has another fun challenge this week.  With it being near Valentine's Day, their subject is hearts and flowers.  All of my Valentine's are finished, but hey, how could I pass up such a fun challenge.  Especially when the blog candy is SO divine!!   I can't find those tiny little roses here on the island, and I would LOVE to have some.  All the Tilda cards look so pretty with them.  I am going to the mainland next Tuesday and they are on my list of things to look for!  Used SCAL to cut the big heart, the flower border is from a Fiskars punch and then trimmed down.  I colored with Prisma's and also my Copics.  Then I added some Flower Soft to the roses in Tilda's bouquet. It's all been raised with pop dots.

  1. Gorgeous card Joanne. Although they aren't roses, here is a link to make your own flowers which look beautiful. http://lordhavemercy-mercykerin.blogspot.com/2010/01/paper-flower-tutorial.html

  4. Those flowers are lusher than lush, I agree!! Prima makes/sells little mini roses that are just as scrummy, I gobbled up a bunch of them from a baby themed line they released last year, it is long-gone in my neck of the woods now though.... I bought them at Michaels. I bit the bullet a while back and ordered a load of them from the UK. I will send a little sampler envelope of flowers to you if you'd like :) Waffling as always, lol. Your creation is wonderul!! I love that Tilda and your papers and punches are fabulous!!! Have a fun, safe trip!!
