Believe it or not, I have a cousin who really IS a rock star! His birthday is next week so I needed to get a card done for him. Over at Tuesday Morning Sketches they have another great layout for their challenge. It is simple but has lots of possibilities and decided it would make a great card for hiim.
The guitar paper is from a pack by Pressed Petals called Punk. I embossed the stamp (yes, another great find in the dollar bin at Micheal's, lol!) in silver, sponged on some silver ink to the edges, raised it with pop-dots, cut out the stars from silver glitter paper and popped them too. Then added the little silver stars from my stash - but they were gold, so I had to spray paint them silver to match...
Here is the layout:
Wow Joanne, fancy having a rock star in the family! Bet you're not gonna tell us who, lol. Your card is fantabulous, love the rock theme and the silver and black colour scheme. That dollar bin seems to have some great buys in there! Hope you are having a good day. Question: what exactly does 'Aloha' mean? Blogger is playing up so I am having to leave a comment as Anonymous as it won't let me log in. Carole of Brum
